Our Mission Statement

We encourage others to find their own unique purpose and passion in life. Good health is far more than the absence of physical symptoms.   As we focus on the physical, mental and emotional aspects of each person, we assist them to build on their  strengths, overcome their imbalances and achieve their dreams.  This is all done by firstly giving each client a simple understanding of their current health challenge and what they can do about it in a practical, down to earth ,simple manner.  Then we give back-up support by providing knowledge , education and encouragement to help each person reach their goals in a holistic manner.

 About us;   We are a couple who enjoy and working and sharing life together since 2003.  We have individually been therapists since early 1980’s.

Tony

I am Tony Annesley and I am a registered Herbalist with ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society).  I have a background in nursing, which I gained after I left school.  I have studied and trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathy, Homeopathy  and Holistic Hypnotherapy.

 I am also a father of 4 children and have been in practise in North Qld. Australia  since 1984.  I have a good general knowledge in treating a wide range of ailments.

My own personal healing journey started when I was still at school at age 16.  After a sports injury I developed a condition called Osteo Mylitis.  After many months of continuous  pain and withdrawal from normal life, I was eventually hospitalised and received surgery.  Owing to my already weakened condition  and the shock of the surgery my heart rate dropped and I experienced a Near Death Experience .  This event completely changed my life and started me on a mission to learn as much as I could about life, healing and the spiritual journey.  That journey still continues on today and fuels my passion for healing and teaching.

I greatly desire to assist, empower and educate others into the workings of their own body, mind and spirit.
Once you have had the initial consultation with us, I am very happy to provide ongoing support for you on your healing journey. If you do move away and live elsewhere in Australia, we can still provide you with medicines and health support.

Cheryll - Anne

I am Cheryll-Anne Boissevain Annesley and have had a very colourful and exciting life. I was born in Zimbabwe,Africa, lived my childhood in Denmark, Scandinavia, and arrived in Australia as a migrant in 1971 with my parents and brothers at the age of 17.  My 20’s was a very growth promoting and unhappy time for me, culminating in the murder suicide of my two children aged 3 & 6 and the suicide of my then husband. He was afflicted with  the disease of alcoholism  and our marriage together was extremely hard and difficult.  As a result of this tragedy, I did plan suicide and felt very despairing of my life.

Through an amazing set of circumstances the suicide was prevented from happening and after much soul searching I  decided that I wanted to live and that  my own healing was of primary importance. I started out with a great thirst for spiritual knowledge and wanting and needing answers to what had happened to me. This event happened in 1981 and I have been on my own growth cycle every since. I feel I have a great personal  knowing of addictions and also a great knowing and understanding of death and grief. This has moulded me into an understanding of experiences in clients and people I have met over the years that has allowed me to help and assist many of them through my own life experiences.

 I have worked in a palliative care unit, have counselled many people , have travelled extensively through Australia and also spent time at the Findhorn Spiritual Community in Scotland.   My experience within natural medicines include massage, Bio-Energetics, Body and Energetic Healing, Reflexology and Pressure Point therapy. I am registered with AAMT (Australian association of Massage Therapists) .
 My life with Tony has been first as friends and colleagues and now as Life Partners. We are based in North Queensland and find the combining of our life experiences has greatly assisted us with our work and has added a new dimension to both our ways of working. As our own relationship has grown we have found counselling couples has been successful and exciting for us as well as working with others on inner child rediscovery and healing.
